Privacy
The calculator and saved quote history do not require an account. Quote inputs, calculated values, and saved records remain on your device and are not sent to our analytics provider.
Anonymous product analytics
The website and the iOS and Android apps use PostHog for limited product-interaction events, such as landing-page views, a completed calculator interaction, App Store and Google Play clicks, app opens, quote saves, live-price request outcomes, paywall views, and purchase-flow outcomes. Events may include page path, campaign attribution, app version, build number, platform, plan interval, storefront country, elapsed time, and privacy-safe error codes. We disable session replay, person profiles, IP-based location lookup in the apps, and cross-app tracking. Neither app reads the device advertising identifier. We never send weights, karats, prices, payouts, quote history, free-form text, dates, email addresses, or your identity to PostHog.
Purchases
KaratLedger Pro is sold as a subscription through the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android; Apple or Google handles payment and billing details, and we never receive your card or account details. On Android, RevenueCat checks your Google Play purchase so Pro can be unlocked and restored. It receives a random app user ID created on your device, the purchase and subscription status, the product, the storefront country, and the device platform, never your quotes. Google Analytics
The website also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate website usage, such as pages viewed, referrer, device type, and approximate location. We do not enable advertising features or Google signals, and Google Analytics does not run for automated test traffic. See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes this data.
Operational data
Our hosting providers may process standard request information such as IP address, device/browser metadata, requested URL, and security logs to deliver and protect the service. Requesting a live reference price contacts our price endpoint, but the request contains no calculator inputs.
Support
If you email support, we receive the message and address you choose to provide so we can reply. Do not send financial account details or government identifiers.
Your choices
You can use manual-price mode without requesting a live reference price. Deleting the app removes its local records and install-scoped analytics identifier from that device. Browser controls may block or clear website analytics storage.
